The portfolio

Three products. One Microsoft estate.

Microsoft 365 licence management, secure AI, and application modernisation. Each works on its own and shares the same brand, security posture, and operating model.

Most Microsoft 365 and Azure bills carry unused licences; EfficientEther's EtherInsights first scans typically find 15-30% inactive or downgradeable and show where spend and risk leak. EtherAssist gives support teams governed AI that keeps tenant context private, and EtherApps Forge repackages legacy apps for Intune and Windows 365. Pricing from £0.79 / $1 / €1 per active user per month, free trial on every product.

Microsoft-estate visibility

For teams who cannot see where spend, policy drift, Cloud PC demand, and tenant risk are building up until the review meeting is already underway.

  • Surface Microsoft 365 cost optimisation and Azure waste before budget noise builds
  • Spot tenant drift, security gaps, and ownerless actions
  • Plan, deploy, and operate Windows 365 with clearer evidence
  • Turn Intune reporting, device, user, and offboarding questions into evidence

Agentic AI for day-two IT

For IT and compliance teams who need AI help, but cannot let sensitive tenant context disappear into generic prompts and untracked answers.

  • Answer operational questions with a secure AI assistant for IT teams
  • Keep run history, redaction, and oversight in the workflow
  • Document fixes so the same issue does not restart next week
  • Support teams in UK, EU, or US hosting patterns

MSIX packaging and modern delivery

For migration and packaging teams stuck with legacy apps, missing installers, thin MSIX skills, and Windows 11 or AVD timelines that will not wait.

  • Capture from running systems when installer media is gone
  • Move MSI and App-V workloads through MSIX app packaging with signing support
  • Prepare AppAttach-ready output for Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Produce IntuneWin and MSIX routes for modern endpoint delivery

Built for

For the teams that actually run the estate.

If you run the Microsoft estate for a 50 to 600 user organisation, or for thirty of them as an MSP, one week can bring a licensing question from finance, an Entra or Intune escalation, a security review, and a budget defence. Each needs evidence you do not have time to assemble by hand from portals and spreadsheets. The roles below are the people we build for, and the outcome is the same for each: an answer with the numbers behind it, ready to forward to a director, an auditor, or a customer before the meeting starts.

Microsoft admin

Needs fast answers when Entra, Intune, Windows 365, and licensing questions all arrive in the same week.

MSP operator

Needs a repeatable way to spot risk, prove value, and explain the next action across many tenants.

IT leader

Needs defensible evidence when cost, governance, security, and delivery risk compete for the same budget.

Security lead

Needs tenant baseline, drift, backup, and Copilot readiness evidence before change becomes exposure.

Why one portfolio

One portfolio forthe Microsoft estate prioritiesyour team already owns.

Buying one tool for licence cost, another for AI-assisted support, and a third for application packaging means three vendors, three security reviews, and three renewals to defend. One portfolio removes that overhead: procurement reviews one UK supplier and IT keeps one operating model. Start with the pressure costing most today and add the next product when the evidence justifies it.

Finance and IT leaders see where Microsoft 365, Azure, and Cloud PC spend is leaking before the next budget review. That work starts with Microsoft 365 cost optimisation.

MSPs and support teams get governed AI help for repeat incidents, documentation, and compliance work without losing control of customer context. That is Agentic Operations.

Migration teams move legacy Windows applications toward Intune, Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop even when installer media is missing. That route runs through MSIX packaging and deployment.

IT admins and Cloud PC operators run the estate day to day: Intune compliance and device troubleshooting, drift and configuration backup, Cloud PC sizing, provisioning and lifecycle, licence actions with named owners. One console covers it — EtherInsights, from Intune reporting to Windows 365 management.

Most of the questions customers bring us start as a search: what an unused Microsoft 365 licence really costs, whether Windows 365 or Azure Virtual Desktop is cheaper for a given team, what Microsoft's App-V changes mean for your packages, or which MSIX packaging steps fail most often. The blog answers them in full, with the Microsoft documentation cited, so you can settle an internal debate or brief a director without booking a call first.

Questions

Common questions about the portfolio.

Four answers people usually want before booking a call: which product fits, who it is built for, how the trials run, and where the prices are published.

Which EfficientEther product do I need?

Start from the pressure you are under. EtherInsights is the choice when Microsoft 365 and Azure cost, licence reclaim, tenant drift, Intune reporting, and the Windows 365 Cloud PC lifecycle all need to be visible and evidenced in one console. EtherAssist is the choice when IT support, documentation, and compliance work needs governed AI that keeps tenant context private and every run auditable. EtherApps Forge is the choice when legacy Windows applications have to reach Intune, Windows 365, or Azure Virtual Desktop as MSIX, MSI, or IntuneWin output, including where the original installer media is gone. Each product works on its own, and most teams start with one.

Is EfficientEther for MSPs or for internal IT teams?

Both, and the products are built for the people who actually run the estate rather than for a central platform team. Internal IT uses EtherInsights to defend a budget, evidence Intune and tenant posture, and run Windows 365 day to day. MSPs use the same console across customer tenants, with multi-tenant delivery and per-customer reporting, so risk and value are explained the same way every time. The sweet spot is organisations of roughly 50 to 600 users, and MSPs serving customers of that size, where the estate is complex enough to leak money but too small to fund a dedicated tooling team.

How do the free trials work?

Every product has a trial. EtherInsights runs 14 days against your own tenant and asks for a card to start, so the first scan reports real licence, cost, and Cloud PC findings rather than a demo dataset. EtherAssist runs 14 days with no credit card and full access to the standard feature set, with UK, EU, or US hosting chosen at setup. EtherApps Forge runs 7 days of the full packaging workflow, not a single capture step, with no credit card, so a real application can be packaged on day one. Moving to a paid plan is a decision at the end of the trial, not a step at the beginning.

Where is EfficientEther pricing published?

On the pricing page, so a business case can be built before the first call. EtherInsights is £0.79 per active user per month, billed as $1 or €1 where you are invoiced in US dollars or euros, and that one price covers the whole platform rather than a starter tier. EtherAssist standard is £16.00 per user per month, billed monthly, with a metered token plan for variable usage. EtherApps Forge is £895 per admin user per year excluding VAT, and every licence includes training and support. Volume and MSP pricing is agreed on request, because it depends on how many tenants and active users you bring.
