EfficientEther has appointed Colin Wright as a Non-Executive Director. Colin brings 30 years of experience in the global software industry, with a track record of scaling early-stage businesses across EMEA and APAC.

About Colin

Colin has spent his career building and scaling software companies. He has held leadership roles across sales, marketing, and operations, with particular strength in growing teams from founding through to acquisition. Across that work he has consistently combined hands-on leadership with clear operating discipline, helping startups integrate into larger organisations without losing the focus that made them work in the first place.

Why this matters for EfficientEther

EfficientEther is moving from a founding-team setup into the next phase of growth. Colin's experience scaling operations, opening new markets, and integrating early-stage companies into the wider technology ecosystem is directly relevant. As we add new products and expand our partner footprint, his perspective on commercial discipline and sustainable scaling will inform how we make those choices.

Colin's entrepreneurial spirit and operational expertise are exactly what we need at this stage. He understands the realities of taking a startup from a strong founding idea through to a repeatable commercial model, and his insight will be central to how we shape EfficientEther's next chapter.

What is next

Colin joins an EfficientEther board that is now building out its non-executive bench in parallel with the platform itself. We expect to share further appointments and product milestones over the coming months. EfficientEther was established in June 2023 in London and focuses on AI-driven cloud cost optimisation, with quality, information security, and sustainability built in from the start.
