EtherApps Forge is now listed on Microsoft Marketplace, alongside EtherInsights and EtherAssist. All three products in the EfficientEther portfolio are now discoverable in the same place IT teams and Microsoft partners already go to evaluate software for their estate.
Why this matters
Application packaging tools are usually found through a search engine or a peer recommendation. A Marketplace listing puts Forge somewhere different: directly in front of IT admins, MSPs, and procurement teams who are already inside the Microsoft ecosystem, browsing for vetted software rather than starting a search from scratch. For organisations that prefer to evaluate and source software through Microsoft's own storefront, that is now a direct route to Forge.
It also completes something that was previously inconsistent. EtherInsights and EtherAssist were already listed; Forge, EfficientEther's AI-assisted application capture and packaging platform for legacy Windows apps, Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Cloud PC, was not. The three products now present the same way to anyone comparing vendors through Marketplace.
What is unchanged
Forge is still a Win32 application, not a SaaS product, run under your own control rather than a hosted multi-tenant service, and it still ships with a free 7-day trial and included training and support on every licence. The Marketplace listing is a new discovery route to the same product, priced and delivered the same way as it is today at etherapps.ai. If you already have a trial running or a licence in place, nothing about how you use Forge changes.
Listings on Microsoft Marketplace can take a few weeks to fully propagate through Microsoft's own search and recommendation surfaces, so if you search for Forge inside Marketplace today and it does not appear yet, that is expected and not a sign anything is wrong.
