EfficientEther and NDC Certification Bureau have formed a strategic partnership to bring AI-driven tooling into ISO certification and supplier assessment work. The first focus is ISO/IEC 27001:2022. A wider AI-assisted ISO platform spanning multiple standards is scheduled for Q1 2025.
What the partnership covers
The partnership combines EfficientEther's AI engineering capability with NDC Certification Bureau's experience operating as an ISO certification body. Together the two teams are building AI assistance into ISO audits, conformity assessments, and supplier evaluation workflows. The intent is to compress the time and effort needed to run a high-quality assessment without diluting the rigour that makes the certification meaningful in the first place.
The initial project applies the tooling to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 information security assessments, focused on improving the cybersecurity posture of a significant supply chain. From there, an AI platform for ISO certification will be built out in Q1 2025, with explicit scope for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
NDC's deep knowledge of ISO standards combined with our AI technology will create a powerful tool for ISO auditing and supplier assessments. We see this partnership setting a new industry benchmark for how compliance work is delivered.

Incorporating AI into our assessment processes lets us deliver more precise and comprehensive evaluations. Our clients benefit, and the service offering moves forward.

Why it matters
Compliance teams are under sustained pressure. Standards are evolving, supplier expectations are growing, and the manual effort required to deliver an audit has stayed largely flat for years. Bringing AI to the working layer of an audit, the evidence gathering, the consistency checks, the report drafting, lets the human auditor focus on judgement rather than paperwork. That is where the real value of certification work sits.
This partnership leverages the strengths of both companies. We can deliver innovative solutions that address critical needs in the compliance landscape, and we are looking forward to working closely with NDC to drive significant improvements in audit efficiency and accuracy.
Colin Wright, Director, EfficientEther
What is next
The first joint engagement is already in progress. The wider AI platform for ISO certification is scheduled for Q1 2025, covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 alongside the initial ISO/IEC 27001:2022 work. Channel partners and customers interested in the partnership should reach out via the EfficientEther contact form or contact NDC at info@ndcmanagement.co.uk.
